the last few days...

I have been reviewing older photographs...I find that time allows me to look at them more freshly...(okay, so that's a big duh...hehehe)

I had several hundred photos that I needed to get onto disks to free up space to play with photos on my computer...halfway through the process, my CDRW died...after making me think that I had 3 faulty disks...so my new drive should arrive today or tomorrow.

Professor Lego (my in-house IT son) will put it in for me and I can get my space and put up some photos...

I am going to try and have a photo a day...I will try and explain what, why, how...all that stuff...and that way I can learn and step out of my little comfy zone...

oh my goodness....

excuse me...pssst...have YOU seen my summer? it was here just a moment ago...but I seem to have mis-placed it...
you might recognize it...it was full of good intentions...and it was about 65 days...there was a lot of sunshine...a little bit of rain...lots of good times intended...
maybe I should print up a poster and tack it to all the telephone poles in my area...

LOST

one summer vacation...

keep attacking...

This past weekend in Philadelphia, I was amazed at the amount of street art around...in the downtown area there are several Art Institutes and Colleges, which might also account for the abundance of art...

Philadelphia...

Philadelphia was a wonderful city...the friendliness was everywhere... the common-folk walking the streets said "Hello"...or "Good morning..."
People rode bikes...jogged...or just walked to and from work...yet the friendliness was really evident...coming from the NYC metropolitan area....I was impressed...

Philadelphia is quite like Boston and San Francisco IMHO...great Big Towns...rather than cities...

All in all, the weekend experience at Wizard World at the Philadelphia Convention Center was wonderful...and the city of Philadelphia was an art envigorating experience... it was all over the place...on corners...in parks...on buildings...in the people...

here are less than 10% of the photos taken on this whirlwind weekend
